I see you frowning in your cubicle, as you get prepared to face another hellacious day of spread sheets and all hands meetings.

I'm gonna need you to turn that frown upside down. It's already Wednesday! We're roughly 50% done with the week. College Football starts this Saturday. What could we possibly be complaining about.

It also means we're one step closer to the Pacers season opener.

Today's highlight features Johnny Furphy laying the boom in a Summer League game against the Bulls, which subsequently broke the internet.

There's no way Bulls rookie Noa Essengue could've predicted that his "Welcome to the League" moment would be delivered by the all-mighty Furph.

I'm interested to see what this season holds for Johnny. He probably got more playing time than he expected at the beginning of last year when Nembhard, Nesmith, and Ben Sheppard were all sidelined with injuries.

I still expect Indiana to roll into this season with a competitive mindset. However, that doesn't mean they won't pursue some added minutes for a guy like Furph in the name of development. He's still only 20 years old. Bro can't even legally drink a sidewalk slammer yet.

All that being said, the future is looking bright for the Aussie.
