The Philadelphia 76er's will pay homage to the teams last NBA Finals appearance with a throwback court that takes ya all the way back to 2001.

I thought it was criminal when the sixers left this theme in the dust in 2009. I remember begging my mom to buy me an Allen Iverson jersey because I saw Like Mike and thought their uniforms were sweet.

It makes it even worse after you remember what uniforms they replaced them with:

This was some of the laziest shit I've ever seen. I don't think you've could've put in less effort than this jersey design. They've improved slightly in recent years, but nothing beats the team's theme during the years of Iverson.

So props to the sixers on getting this one right. I feel like you're nerfing your abilities if it's only a throwback court, however. If they rode the throwback wave the whole year, maybe they'd get some of the early 2000's mojo back and make an Eastern Conference Finals.

Bring back the jerseys, too. It's such an easy decision.
