In July, the Pacers acquired center Jay Huff from Memphis for a 2029 second round pick as well as pick swap in 2031.
Mr. Huff brings a couple things to the Pacers that I know I will appreciate as a fan. First, he's a stretch 5 that shoots 40% from 3-point range (albeit only averaging 11 minutes a game last year). Secondly, he has the ability to grow a lumberjack beard, which shows loads of grit. Finally, he's got one of the funniest dunk packages on the planet.
Imagine what it would feel like to just throw down reverse dunks on people and make it look effortless?
It's one thing to emote on people like this in a summer run. But this dude Jay does it in actual games too.
This is what gamers would call BM-ing the opponent. Reverse dunks being your go-to jam is BAD MANNERS. I couldn't be happier he's on the squad now.
Short guys everywhere would give up just about anything to throw down a regular dunk on a 10 foot rim. Jay Huff has to feel like the king of the castle. He'll take a normal alley-oop and uno reverse card that shit because why the hell not.
Hoping to see many a reverse cram this upcoming season.
