Luka Is Teaming up With Overwatch to Play Mind Games on the Mavs Front Office

Activision Blizzard, the developers of both Overwatch and Overwatch 2, don't necessarily have the cleanest record when it comes to decision making.

However, whoever got a Luka/Overwatch ad planted right next to the American Airlines Center deserves a promotion.

I'm assuming Luka didn't actually have anything to do with this. I also have no insight into the logistics of what ads get placed where. Purposeful or otherwise, the mind games worked to a tee, as the Mavs ownership had the ad moved away from the stadium.

The fact that it's right next to AAC was sure to grab some attention. But, reacting like this probably made it much worse. I'm sure it won't be up there forever. You could've just laughed it off and it would've blown over.

I wonder if Nico Harrison plays Overwatch. Maybe this is why he traded Luka. Maybe He was jealous of Luka's top 500 ranking as a Tank in OW, while simultaneously being one of the best basketball players in the world.

Never forget that video of a streamer meeting Luka in an overwatch game:

I can't imagine Nico Harrison in Overwatch game chat. You thought the Mavs fanbase was bad after you agreed to one of the craziest trades in NBA history? The Overwatch community is that level of toxicity times 100. He'd miss his ult and lose his team the game. Next thing you know, he'd have to go into hiding after ingesting the ensuing verbal abuse from some neckbeard gamers because your just fucked their SR up.
